Strength in exchange for uniqueness

Am i the only one who really dislikes the uniqueness fo champions, that cost them their roles, Morde is now a less strong top laner, BUT LOOK HE CAN SUPPORT, thats not what players bought him for.

Ohw look the new fiora is a utility top laner, again not what the players bought her for, they wanted an assassin/physical nuker. Sion players liked the 1/2 punch magic combo, now they get a sort of generic tank witha flashy passive and ultimate.(Dont get me wrong sion is a really strong jungler, and a okay-ish to really good toplaner)

I like some changes i really do, like the bouncy shrooms for teemo or the new passive for darius, but changing champions from what they used to be to "match their identity" "and for more unique style of play" is plain wrong, people buy a champ for their skillset(like i did for yorick) or for their look(fiora, chogath and morde which i love except fiora post-rework)

(Also morde is supposed to be the pain paladin "Mordekaiser is a being of pure, living agony on a mysterious dread quest." <- a qoute directly from lore, he isnt meant to help or heal his allies, what the hell is that new W mordekaiser skill riot)

If you want a new look sure, but dont change skillset A to skillset B if it changes the entire concept of a champ, its just basically wasting the time and effort people put into finding their playstyle and just throwing it all overboard...

You have a giant playerbase and you kind of listen to it, but not for the full 100%, Alot of people were disgusted by the new fiora look, yet you pushed it, her new walk animation feels like she is skipping.

TL;DR Disagreeing with riot changing entire champions and making champions worse or completly give a rework because of "them not having a unique playstyle or a playstyle that fits their identity."

EDIT 1: Okay i agree with people saying he si an adc i was in the wrong, The w change is cool, but it takes away his sololane potential, so top/mid lane mains are getting fucked over in champion diversity.

His not a support, he is a Carry made for LCS where you can duo with your support as a toplaner on the bottom side, while the corki goes solo lane and let your Triforce ADC like corki getting sololevels and as a team as whole will outlevel the enemies.

morde is supposed to replace the adc on a team, not take on the role of support.

his ability to siege is supposed to come from his ghost. either a ranged champion from the enemy team, or drake.

Not everybody buys champs for their kit.

Some (probably most) people just play for fun and choose champions that appeal to them and hope their champion feels right to play to them.

Appeal can come from a lot of things, their looks, voice, flashy animation, backstory, alternate skins, playstyle, role, and yes even their kit. And never underestimate the power of tits and ass.

I guess so, but higher up, people will start playing champs they feel, feel right for them to play, i am one who is a tryhard, but i know i'm not ready for ranked...<- kind of besides the point. Also what appeal is there to a murderous metal monster that HAS to be with another person to be fully usefull >.>

Yes you come across as a try-hard who is butt-hurt.

If you actually cared about winning then you would not be complaining about how champions feel but instead just learn how everything in the game works and take advantage of every little thing you can spin to your advantage.

Winner don't whine, they figure out how it works and get shit done.
