How to farm more as ADC?

I just started playing Lucian ADC, and I'm pretty bad at it. In the laning phase I tend to either use my abilities to last hit so I don't have mana left for fights, or I overextend and try to do damage and end up getting way behind in farm. I would say right now I am averaging about 4-6 cs per minute - and most of that comes after 15 mins - but I want to increase that while also being able to have kill pressure. Can someone give me some tips on how to stay ahead in farm as an ADC?

First of all, as Lucian you HAVE to run Mana band and Gathering Storm as second tree. I dont know if you do it so I wanted to tell you that because Mana Band on him is needed.

Second, as bad as it seems you need to play more adc games to reach a decent level, there's a part that it's just "git gut".

The other part is using your characters strenghts in a interlligent way, which means that you can strictly only use mana as Lucian to only farm when you are zoned or to Q the wave to push the lane, other tactic that you must take in count is to use W to get the Mana Band proc as soon as posible, even starting with W and not with Q it's a good idea since at rank 1 both skills deal similar dmg and it's easier to land W.

For the rest, you have to kill majority of the minions with autoatacks and if you feel that doing that you get your lane pushed too often to your turret it means that you are either playing against Sivir or that you are only last hitting minions when you should be hitting every single aa that you can to minions not only to heal with DSword or the early VampiricS that you get.

And if doing that you lose too many minions you just need more games on Lucian. He is really strong now, like, disgusting, so play him before he gets the nerfs he deserves.

With Lucian you have a cheat to farm CC that also allows you to poke. Ardent Blaze Champions and your next auto attack will attack twice. If you have a low HP minion or two, you can use that to ensure the last hit. If you don't and just focus on single last hitting, you'll generally be wrong about last hitting 10-15% more of the time. You can use abilities to farm too, but remember there's a delay in each of Lucian's abilties.

More complex tips on cs: If you generally master lane cs, you have an option to roam between waves and harass a jungler, or take Gromp. Don't limit yourself to what you believe is just "your" CS when trying to get ahead, if you're confident in your champ.
