Buffing the unforgiven

I would love a buff for Yasuo, he has one of the coolest looks and playstyles. He may be the unforgiven, but it would be nice if you could forgive him. Hasn't preschool taught you anything? Yasuo

Yasuo, like so many other failed champion concepts Riot has attempted, is either going to be stupidly OP or UP. If they buffed him, he would once again be one of the most picked and banned champions in the league.

There are numbers on his abilities. There is certainly some value for those numbers that will make him balanced, at least in a statistical sense. The only concern is whether finding those optimal values will lead to healthy/fun gameplay. If yes, find those numbers. If not, he needs a rework.

To be honest, I think it would be healthy for the game if we just retired a bunch of "problem champions" rather than trying to rework them. I can only imagine that would upset too many people, though.

You tread in dangerous waters if you try to do that. For example who would you retire and if so would other champs eventually be retired as the game evolves over time? Also those that love those champs will leave the game. I know I would. It would just be bad business sense on Riots part to do so.

Oh I agree. That was my point when I said "that would upset too many people, though." I'm just saying it would probably be a healthier game (in a general sense) if that was an option. It's not really an option, though. (So instead we just nerf the problem champions until they're not a problem Kassadin Evelynn .)

Healthier initially until more changes are made in future updates. This is a constantly changing game and problem champs surface and disappear ever update as tweeks are made here and there. Though I will admit there are several champs I could see retired as problem child champs. Best anyone can hope for is riot setting down at the table with players and be honest as well as set up a better way of communicating with them. How? In this day in age of technology anything should be possible. I would prefer video conferences as a show each week where players could video conference in and ask questions. Talking with sound is by far superior text based communication.

If XiaoWeiXiao has taught us anything, it's that Yasuo is underpowered.

Of course, I'm the sort who wants all the champions to be balanced and doesn't just hate certain champions and want them nerfed into the ground.

Any vote that is only one option reflects the creator is not open to others input. If you want to be praised for you idea go somewhere else.

Oh sorry I need to fix that. My mistake

Forget BUFFING him, just build differently than you usually do.

...Shouldn't be that hard.

Just add some ofitem 3172 item 3091 oritem 3142 .

As far as I'm concerned, Yasuo is still quite a threat. He's played in midlane for a reason. Most mages have ranged abilities, thus his wind wall makes it very difficult to poke him. He has a knockup that's quicker to cast and easier to land than Janna, and he has yet more poke protection in the form of his passive. His abilities cost no mana, meaning that he's only bound by cooldowns... Hm.. where have we seen that before?

Katarina

However, I digress. Katarina's only good for letting Bronzies know their place in the world, right? Yeah, he may be melee, but he also has infinite dashes. INFINITE DASHES. As long as there are enemies, be they minions, jungle creeps, or champions, Yasuo can dash. When it's maxed out it has a cooldown of a tenth of a second, as long as you don't dash at a marked target. Did we also mention he has double crit chance? Because he has double crit chance. Because why the fuck not?

Katarina , huh?

Gangplank . PROBLEM SOLVED.

Yasuo ?

...Still got nothing.

I'm... not exactly sure what you're saying here. Are you saying that GP counters Katarina, and you can't think of a counter for Yasuo? I've never heard of GP countering... really anyone. I've actually seen more people say Gangplank is one of the worst champions in the game than I've seen them say he counters a champion ._.

GP is bad... Unless you know how to play and build him right! :D

...

...

...Just me?

(Also, he counters Katarina early game, assuming they both stay within the same amount of health, and if said GP isn't a complete idiot.)

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up. I know pretty much any champion is valid as long as you know your matchups and how to play them well enough. Gangplank is one of those champions that I never really see at my current level. Yeah, him along with Zac, Cassiopia, Gragas, Morde.... just to name a few. Like in all of my time playing league up to this point, all of those champions (and more still after them) I've seen a maximum of like... twice, if at all. lol

I suppose you've shown me a new light for the unforgiven swordsman. Thank you. Yasuo Yasuo thanks you too. :^)

See? If you learn anything from people playing Urgot in the LCS, it should be that any champion can be good with enough hard work, determination and a little bit of skill. ;)
