LoL client keeps updating everytime i open it

My client starts updating everytime It says We have restored this installation to an older version of League Now well try to patch it

Pls help its very annoying

reinstall the game i had the same problem so i reinstalled the game and the problem was gone.

Keeps happening to me too and its so annoying. I also reinstalled the game ... those 2.1 mb patches stop at 1.9 mb and take another 10 min to finish.

I've had the same problem occurring to me and quite a fee friends. I found a post two years ago with someone who had a similar problem. Support got back with him and had this response, "Sooooo the client isn't actually uninstalling the recent update. Essentially the client is noticing that some of the update files were corrupted/damaged/or somehow missing and knows that you might crash if it doesn't repatch. If that keeps happening every time you launch the client, you may need to reinstall that patch altogether. Grab our Hextech Repair Tool and run it with the option Force Repatch turned on, and let me know if that helps."
