I really love riot and am impressed with a lot of what they do...but do they seriously think I'm going to queue up for a ranked game with this autofill bs enabled?? They are literally deterring me from even playing... So, yeah...I guess that does solve the whole excessive queue time problem, because now I'm not even going to play. What idiot thought up that idea??
First of all, you have 0.6% chance of getting autofilled in your Bronze 5 0lp rank. And honestly, perhaps it might be a good thing. Learning other roles is extremely important and it was quite key to the old system of ranked which I believe was a smart thing to carry over particularly for the higher elos. Since it really shows who is best at the game overall. But hey, if you hit silver, then you have a 0% chance of getting autofilled!

I'm at least minimally competent in all positions. I shouldn't have to be a master at all positions though to play ranked. I don't wanna be put in a position where I lose my hard earned LP because I'm forced into a role that I don't tend to play.
Noobs need to learn to support.
Autofill is garbage. It just takes the worst of both worlds (longer wait times plus not getting your desired role). I feel autofill is not going to be around for very long.
