I am in a rank duo. We have been ranking together since season 3 and i have always wondered how the league points are calculated. My partner has gotten ahead of me by a whole league as of now, yet my progress has been slow in comparison. We do not play ranked games separately. An explanation as to why would be quite helpful.
MagicOfLight1 votesBacially they just calculate the "elo" of the two teams combined and give you more/less lp based on how difficult they perceive the match to be. "There is only one factor that affects the amount of LP you get: the perceived difficulty of the match, which is based on the MMR difference between the two teams. Being a part of a duo, kill/death ratios, and other statistics does not affect your LP gain." <-- I copied that from Ranked Play FAQ.
