2/27 PBE Update: More Tentative Balance Changes

So, a Saturday PBE patch went out. There's a Devourer nerf in there. What is the deal, Riot?

Warwick was definitely overpowered in patch 4.20. To pull this back, Riot nerfed his ultimate cooldown by 20/10/0. The very next patch, they nerfed Skirmisher's Saber to not work with his ultimate, decreased the duration of his E by 4 seconds, AND reduced the damage to his ultimate by 100/75/70.

Sated devourer was somewhat of a breath of fresh air for us Warwick players. Now, that's being nerfed as well with no compensation buffs in sight.

I understand that Warwick is very difficult to balance, but I feel like there's no way to play him well now. This is even worse.

Warwick is getting a VGU soon, but if it's going to be anytime after Yorick, I would very much like to not wait another year for something for Warwick.

Warwick is already unplayable above Silver, this won't matter because nobody should ever be picking him.

No one said that the Devourer nerf was even meant for Warwick .

Devourer nerf is most likely due to the strength of Guinsoo's and how quickly Sated can gives Guinsoo's stacks. I think that Guinsoo's should be nerfed instead. They have already nerfed Jax, Kog'Maw, Xin, and now looking at Devourer.

Warwick is 0 fun to play as and play against anyway. I'd rather not see him on my team or the enemy team.

I think the Devourer Nerf will finally crush OP Jg Carries.

I mean seriously, I think it's BS that WW can gain half of his health back with a Q (especially at 4k health).

But you're a WW main, if his Q would be able to deal 1,000,000 damage, you'd still think he's perfectly balanced, because you're a WW main and completely biased.

Hopefully this will crush Yi mains, too.

In all honesty, Devourer's been broken for a very long time. It's long due for even these very minor nerfs.

Regardless, Riot really doesn't care about Warwick's balance state unless he's clearly overpowered (Season 4 red smite comes to mind) because they're going to rework him at some point or another, and they don't want to make sacrifices in the balance of the game for a single champion that's eventually going to get a healthier kit.
