Just Curious

I get it, about 80% of you out there are wondering where the hell URF is. About 20% of you want people to shut up about URF, Sorry i know you dont like it 20% but you seem to be pretty overwhelmed.

That said here is my question. Why has Riot not responded today about URF. Really i cant find a darn thing in twitter facebook or red posts that Riot will even Acknowledge the outcry that seems to be happening in regards to this. Weather your pissed at riot for no URF or pissed at people who think they should have never expected URF. I feel more then enough people have voiced there opinion on the matter to get some kind of response out of Riot. Even if its " Hey, we said no URF, and we where not kidding this year"

Instead we seem to have a company that's getting screamed at, and one of the fat cats of riot simply told them ahead of time "listen, our community of players will bombard social media and forums with URF and under no circumstances are you to respond." Which leaves a dry taste in my mouth. When you have a game so driven by its players (and ultimately succeeded from its players) you go the corporate disconnect route and alienate your own community.

So really what it comes down to is this. Riot, I am just curious. Between development, support, maintenance, social media posts, E sports planning, and your morning coffee, where exactly was it that you decided that your fan/player base didn't deserve to be communicated with like human beings.

Either it's an elaborate plan to make people really get excited for it tomorrow, or maybe after the thing they put together earlier today was met with such anger that even they are trying to figure out what to do.

You just brightened my day.

Riot never talks with their costumers. Why do you think this community became so toxic in the first place. Lack of communication.

They've outlined it at LEAST 4 times from what I've seen. So people who don't understand that urf's not coming in april, but WILL come twice this year in the rotating queue, don't deserve to whine that no information has been given.

Hmm, ok well thank you for reading the first few sentences of my post. My suggestion to you is to read it all next go around. I did not say Riot did not announce it, i am saying after all the feedback, riot simply ignores it. Also 2, rotations of urf in 2 day sprints is actually less urf then what people have played the last two years.

You're right, my bad. I've been recovering from ear surgery lately, so I'm not exactly right in the head, but it's no excuse for attempting to voice criticisms(which were more aimed at people who were whining about not having it due to ignorance) when I don't fully understand the context.

But I do still stand behind my opinion, just wanting to be more clear about the targeted audience, and that they've been clear on this from what I've seen, just not as clear as the could have been.

Also, iirc, they're willing to extend these game modes of they prove popular.

Considering the massively positive reception that URF had when it was released, I'm actually little surprised that Riot didn't want to add it. It doesn't mean that the Draven thing couldn't have happened, just personally I know that I had a massive amount of fun when URF was active.
