Leavebuster is substandard

What is leavebuster and what does it do?

If you've never come across this annoying bot (You're lucky), it's made to punish you for being AFK in a game, or leaving. The punishment is the so called "low priority queue" that forces you to wait a certain amount of time before joining the queue for 5 matches.

What problems does it have?

Well if you're on an emergency call you won't wait for your match to finish, and that's comprehensible, but it sure isn't for Leavebuster.

Allow me to give you an example:

A player has just started playing a match but his sister broke her leg while playing outside. He closes the computer and grabs her to the hospital. After he returns he gets a notification from Leavebuster saying "Due to AFK behaviors bla bla bla I'm full of shit. You're now placed in a low priority queue of 20 minutes for 5 matches.". The player is outraged cause this has happened more than once, and deletes League of Legends as he won't put it in a bigger priority than his life (This has actually happened).

In defense of riotgames:

I get that leaving in game is a problem but this solution is unpolished and stupid. We can't put a game above ourselves just to not get this low priority queue. Riotgames should reiterate having Leavebuster before it busts everyone out of the game, and by that I mean making them leave.
