Aphelios is stupid busted

I know that Riot has a tendency to release champs that are super op so people notice them and play them a bunch before nerfing them down to normal gameplay level, but it has gone too far with Aphelios. Even if Riot nerfed his attack speed by like 50% for his knife pistol thing and the spinny talon blade things, it still wouldnt be enough. He can carry like 6 talon knife things that smack you every single auto attack so he has crazy early game and even crazier late game. I feel like this really needs to be nerfed down to like 3 or something. Because of the way his attack speed duel weapon system works, he can carry his god like attack speed over to his shotgun and flatten your entire team while he sits comfortable in the back line with a blitzcrank and garen to soak up damage in the front line. However it's not just that he's super broken (well mostly) but he's the most boring adc ever even though Riot tried their absolute hardest to come up with an interesting, fun, high skill ceiling, off meta champ, but they ended up with just another boring attack speed, crit, auto attack adc.

And laughibly they say he was complicated. Complicated only for those who try to stand against him! If you don't buy this champion yourself and play him for roughly 1 week, there is no way you know how to play against him. My brother got Aphelios and melted the enemy team away in his first try. He said he had no clue what he was doing, but it was fun! Thank you for such a high skill, complex and challenging champion rito!

I agree he is busted. But like you said, Riot will nerf him after the new car smell wares off. Just play draft and ban him until than.

Riot has a tendency to release super OP Yuumi How many people dodged or insulted players who picked a 30% winrate champion.

In order to get the "spinny talon blade things", he needs to hit you with a main-hand ability using Crescendum in the off hand, then attack you with Crescendum in the main hand. It costs mana and ammo to get those bonus hits.

He's not meant to be mechanically difficult. The intention of his design was to make a champion that is mechanically easy, but strategically difficult. Capitalizing on the different strengths of your guns as you cycle through them and optimizing the use of your ammo and gun switches gives him a nearly infinite skill ceiling.

tbh.. I love that combo.. both the pistol and flamethrower work really well with the chakram. The trick is being able to utilize BOTH of them with the chakram.

Like.. Say for instance.. I got 10 bullets left on my pistol, 30 on my chakram, and my flamethrower is next in line.. Q with the pistol, then Q with the flamethrower and I get an instant 10+ chakram stacks. literally ANYONE who wants to try and 1v1 me with 10+ chakram stacks is just gonna die.. i mean except for half-decent assassins ofc, assassins are the answer for every adc. Doesn't mean i can't kill assassins either, because ofc I can.

I do think they should have a max of 10 chakram stacks rather than 20.

I mean...when you reach 10+, you're gonna be 2-3 shotting everything regardless.

Main reason I'm saying this is because I don't want it to go away, because it's really damned cool, and fun to use. It's not easy to micromanage your gun's rotation and ammunition. It's not brain dead despite what people seem to think. I mean, yeah you can play him brain dead, but that doesn't mean you're doing well.

Like, if you must nerf the chakram, limit it to 10 stacks...just don't make it pointless in the rotation.
