I just realized WHY doesn't Riot move the sever little bit east

Hi, everyone.

I live in West coast , Oregon most of time during the year, and I never had ping issue, it's usually below 30. I usually went back to east coast of China for holidays, where I live has excellent internet connection, playing CN server below 10 ping , KR server around 30 ping. And I sometimes try to have some games with my NA friends, the ping is usually around 130-150. I believe this ping is sometimes better than some of east coast player. And later once I went to Japan, I tried playing NA server from there,(lots of Japanese play NA server as well)the ping was like below 100. Later I was once in Hawaii, ping from there to NA server was 90.

Conclusion: NA sever is not just for Americans and Canadians, but also, riot tend to provide NA sever to the East Asia(just like Japanese,Korean, Chinese),though Chinese and Koreans have their own servers, ( there are fking 28 servers in China mainland, WTH) Howver, Japanese does not have their homeland yet. Therefore, I believe , after the Japanese Server officially set up, I believe riot will move the server little bit east.

Those are all my personal thought.

Actually, the main reason that NA's ping is so wild is that broadband in the US is a giant, complex network, many parts of which are either obsolete or poorly-maintained, simply because the country is so big. This is going to be especially problematic in areas without a large number of customers and thus a low demand for service... like the Midwest. So you have a huge amount of traffic on the East Coast and a huge amount of traffic on the West Coast that are getting forced through the relatively miniscule pipes in the Midwest and it bogs down. That's also why you get better ping from all those countries you listed - Japan, Korea, Hawaii? West Coast. They have their own pipes to the mainland and avoid the Midwestern bottleneck.
