Riot, a Heartfelt Plea
Disclaimer: I did, indeed, just get my shit pushed in by a Zed. I am mad. This could be called a rant, I wouldn't disagree with that.
Here's the thing. Zed is strong. We all know that Zed is strong. This is a pretty undeniable fact. Strong champions are fine, the game will always have strong champions. The thing is, laning against him is like pulling teeth, every second of it. You can't deny him farm, because his Q is on what feels like a 2 second CD. You can't outsustain him, because he's an energy champion. You can't outroam him, because he's fast as hell. You can't outpush him, because one WQE combo from him clears a wave. You can't gank him, because he's safe as all hell with his shadows and ult. You can't turtle, because he pokes you down and all-ins you.
You can't outfight him, because he's an assassin.
Something has got to give. And I don't mean his attackspeed. Whether it's increased energy costs, increased cooldowns or reduced safety, I don't care. I just want to be able to go mid without having to lane against this monster that tears pretty much everything to pieces.
I'm not gonna offer balance suggestions beyond the above, because I think that you guys know balance better than I do, over all. That being said, it was in patch 5.3 (I believe) that you mentioned you had your eye on him. There has been no news since then. I just want some feedback on how balancing him is going, even if it's just a statement that he's not a priority and we can expect him to be near top pick/ban for patches to come.
