Garen Balance

Ok overall i understand the need for the low cost champs to be effective for new players to actually progress well but on the same note its also more than ridiculous for a 450 IP champ to 1v5 taking CC and skills and to walk away with a penta with over half health. a perfect example of this is garen.

Garen has no need for mana items which makes him simple for newer players to learn but also makes him advantageous early on in lane against a mana based champion. he has a silence which is a powerful form of CC in a 1v1 lane which for the most part is easily worked with since it gives him movement speed as well. however he also has a AOE damaging spin that can crit as well as grant him movement speed and doesnt slow him at all meaning if he has equal or greater speed to you, youre guaranteed to take all of it which even building tank will obliterate you. he also has a passive increase to his armor and MR in a SKILL which scales as its leveled and it can be activated to grant a shield as well.

on top of all this his passive makes him unbelievably sutainable in lane as he regenerates health at an insane rate that rivals vladimir with his Q stacks constantly being used. look riot i understand new players need champs to play and buy but this is a bit absurd. hes literally the Swiss Army Knife of champions and he has no fall off either, i've not once ever seen a garen shutdown or not who has been behind.

they get a black cleaver and some health and boom they can 1v3 new or not. hes also basically immortal in most every fight he goes into the only things that can really hurt him for some reason are the baron nashor and the dragons. maybe thats a bug in the coding however but on top of this ive had games where i myself have played characters like khazix, rengar, yasuo, etc high damage assassins and ive built full armor pen and he still shrugs them off like mosquito bites with no health regen whatsoever and even does this agaisnt teams of assassins, his AOE skill also prevents melee assassins from having a chance with him armor pen or not and tanks cant get close to the damage he puts off.

Garen is a viable pick in literally every Elo skilled or not cause of his late game whether you're skilled or not. HE NEEDS TO BE NERFED.
