Good Job, Riot

It's quite funny how riot considers scripters as minor issues and toxic people as a huge negative experiences for players in league of legends. They never punish people who use unauthorized programs. This actually happened in korea; they said they will never punish the scripters, because they think the scripters 'love' their game and people who can climb up the rank can do so either with or without the scripter. I just got chat restriction because i was toxic to two autolocks during champ selection and 0/14 kid who threw the entire game. Good job, riot.

No, they definitely do punish. Bans for illegal programs happen in waves and hit thousands or tens of thousands at a time with permabans.

Whether that was really said by someone that mattered or not idk, but this isn't Korea.

Ok. Being toxic does not help the situation, it makes it worse.

The scripters DO get banned.

They don't get banned immediately after, though. There's reasoning for this. They do so because if it happened immediately after detection, the developers of the bots would be able to find out what parts of their programs are sending out red flags and code ways around it.

The solution? Ban in waves. When you do so, you're not telegraphing the thing that banned you, leaving them guessing.

The Good: They get banned and bot devs don't get a hint as to what thwarted their "service". The Bad: You have to wait a bit for these cheaters to actually get banned. The Ugly: People like you try to use this as an excuse for toxicity.
