Why does Riot not have a way to check ping before games?

I've been wondering this for a while, wouldnt it be pretty simple for riot to put your ms somewhere on the menu? Its not like Riot doesnt already have a way to detect ping, it would be a fast and simple patch and it would save everybody from starting their first game of the day, having god awful ping the entire time, feed or afk and then your whole team is screwed and their is nothing you can do about it besides tell them you are lagging, which they probably wont believe. Please everyone try to get this a ton of upvotes this would result in a lot less feeding, afks and frustration for many lol players, especially those like me with hit or miss internet connection, where i have to start every game praying that my ping will be good.

You mean like...creating a custom game on your own you can leave at any time?

Some times ranked and custome games have different ping depending on the server.

I feel like the loading screen is long enough. Let riot do their job, otherwise buy a good computer with good internet speed.
