Stop stereotyping Yasuo player's for god sake.

Hello, League of Legends community, I've created this post, because I am sick of the hate. You can already see that I main and the stereotyping is a real problem in this game, IMO. The hate is so big that when I want to play him, the team just bans him and when I ask them why, they answer me with the famous line "Because players are toxic". Yes, some mains are toxic, but you don't know the main in particular. We all do mistakes, but only if we die once the whole team starts flamming us, for example : "Typical main" ; " kid" and I hate this! We do have feelings too, okay?

Next off - the players that cry about 's kit and his skill ceiling. " is so unbalanced and please nerf or rework him!" This champion had a ruthless past of nerfs already.

He isn't even broken, and I don't only say that just cause I main him, but cause look at his win rate. It barely sticks to 50% in mid lane and I am truly salty and you should understand why.

He is just annoying to play against, but if you learn how to play against him, you can easily win the lane. For example, waiting until he uses his Q then harassing him with auto attack or baiting his wind wall. This champion has nothing other to defend himself with, he only has his passive and wind wall that does the job perfectly.

Please, community, stop hating on him, just because he is annoying and that they are sometimes very toxic. We are all toxic sometimes and it's just a part of the game.

I've had so many games where I was flamed for just picking him even before we hit lane. I've had countless times where a jg has told me "I dont gank for yasuos".

Losing FB or dying early to a gank usually means the "typical yas" talk starts.

I'm pretty good at taking him adc, but usually the support will tilt by the pick itself and troll/give up from start.

I feel bad for people just trying to learn him a little bit or practice him. The team is usually prepared to crucify any Yasuo who plays sub par in their eyes.

Lastly when I play yas I usually don't speak to my jg. I've learned that out of everyone I play mid, Yas is on the bottom of the list for getting help early game. I've lost count of how many times I've asked for a gank or set a gank up just for the jg to laugh at me and crack a yas joke.

Shits rough out there for them yung yasuyes players XD

Lol @ tries to dispel Yasuo stereotype, then spams Yasuo icon :)

The problem with stereotypes is that they are true, just not the whole story. Otherwise they would not exist in the first place. There are some souls out there that I am sure are respectful and good players, but for some reason Yasuo attracts a large amount of toxic players (I think this goes for many champs with the ability to delete people like Zed.....)

Also win rate on Yasuo is not the whole story. He is top 3 play rate in 2 different roles. I am not sure if there is any other champ that can claim that. His play rate is insane, which means that everybody and their dog is playing Yasuo. So there are a lot of people dragging his win rate down who probably do not actually main him. They see a good player destroy a team with him and think "I can do that too."

Here is my 2 cents for why I think people get hot and bothered by Yasuo:

1 so many people play him that people get sick playing vs him in lane.

2 so many people play him that you have a large amount of toxic players that stick out in people's memory when they lane vs him. (people rarely remember the honorable opponent Yasuo's because they didn't annoy them as much).

3 so many people get fed by him or feed on him that people ban him to keep him off either side.

4 While he has a high skill ceiling, his skill floor is not that low making a lot of noobs play him (lets face it, get some good cc comps and its not hard to use his ult). I'll admit I have not played many games as him, but the few I did, I curb stomped the team with him when I had no practice at him which most champs it takes a lot of practice to do that. I think I have played him 3 or 4 times, and I got a penta on him...

5 People are bad at counter-picking and pick someone who's skills either windwall or his mobility completely counter and get frustrated as he does completely suffocate certain mid-lane champs making him seem OP.

6 Really good Yasuo is REALLY GOOD (but so are many other skill mechanics based champs) Some champs have such a low cieling, that if you pick into a Yasuo, you can play a perfect game, and still get destroyed by a less skilled Yasuo (but sort of your fault for picking that champ unless you picked first).

These are just my experiences. Other people may have different.

Almost every yasuo with name tag or something "yasuo" since maybe 2 weeks is feeding like crazy or goes afk, i saw maybe one good yasuo but he had 4 mastery

I don't know anything about them, but surely I am not like them. We do have bad games and we get tilted very hard after not succeeding, it's the playstyle who makes us toxic. We always want action. I hope you a good day.

I am decent, I guess. Gold 4 was my peak, and I didn't actually try to climb from silver. Just Yasuo get's permabanned for his annoyingness and for player's lack of knowledge to counter him.

I dont care if yasuo players feed, but the people that pick yasuo and plays him like a coward (refusing to go into 2v3 fights when the yasuo+other damage dealer are clearly strong enough to do it) annoys the hell out of me.

Yasuo isnt the champ to be the typical KDA player ffs

I agree with what you said. You have the right's to flame him for being a coward. Yasuo has to be a playmaker, not a coward.

Okay but the thing is that it's pretty consistent. I don't know why, but more lvl 7 yasuo mains are terrible or toxic than any other mained champion I've seen. The only time that I've seen players give up when we are ahead have been yasuo players. I'm sorry that your fellow yasuo mains have given the few decent yas mains a bad rep, but the best you can do is go against it and be the best you can be.

That's the point, I am trying to go against it. And yes, we get really upset after trying to carry, but not succeeding. Yes, Yasuo mains are toxic as hell, but not all of us are, that's what I am trying to point. We don't want to be stereotyped because of other Yasuo's. I hope you understand my point. It is not consistent. I play with m7 yasuos and they almost never rage. (not premade, I don't know any yas players) but people get caught up in how much they hate yasuo and then every game they rage sticks out. And it feels disproportionatly more often. Same with riven btw. In my last 8 years of league, even before i mained her, I haven't observed any specifically higher rage from any specific champions.

The issue is no yasuo player sees he can scale the game, the new style is to be playing like an assasin

Yeah, that's true. Sometimes, it's just too hard to carry. Look at my match history, I lost many games where I couldn't scale into late game, because I couldn't win alone or 2 v 5. Have a great day.
