Placements Unfair ?

I was playing ranked games to finish my placements as it reached my last game i was happy to win i knew i finished placements with a score of 7 wins and 3 loses but when I saw my rank I was very disappointed to see i received a placement of Bronze 5 i don't understand why riot thinks this is fair "oh sevens wins i think we should give him bronze five" Can someone explain why i didn't receive a higher placement .

Its a soft reset, those 10 games shouldnt' be the deciding factor in how good you are. Your mmr from last season still stands, so Riot soft resets it, and drops you about a full rank. Placements honeslty don't mean much other then maybe, boosting you ONE league by chance, fromt eh 1 full rank drop.
