Why did Riot mess up League?

Why did they remove Teambuilder? Seems like a step in the wrong direction at this moment. There was nothing wrong with Teambuilder that I could see so why fix something that's not broken?

Title should be why did Riot remove Teambuilder.

There is a Rioter that said there will be a New Champ Select option later on that is a better version of TB. So its just going to be re-skinned with the option to pick a balanced team comp. Right now, they are just testing NCS in NA to get it ready for the Ranked season.

They didn't try to "fix" it, they're going to replace it.

Riot has a strange habit of removing perfectly functional things when they get a new idea, like champion kits and teambuilder.
