Kindred's Ultimate

Quick random thought,

but...

Kindred's ult should damage enemy champions for the same amount that it heals allied champions upon it's completion.

This would make it a "I shouldn't prolong a fight in this zone, zone (If you're the enemy).

Figure if you're both low, you'll get a small heal while the end of the ultimate would finish (or almost finish) off enemies still caught in the zone.

I feel this would feel more interactive than it's current state.

Just an idea.

I don't think you understand the fact it's supposed to also heal the enemy team is intentionally set there so that 1: there's counterplay, and 2: It actually keeps the enemy team clustered together and creates a sort of "carnage" Which is what this character is actually all about. Reverse Psychology bro.

Just for ex:

Mid way through the fight, boom ult. fight fight fight. Then with one to two seconds left on it.

Gnar Locks enemy team down

Nunu Ults, and also cannot be killed while channeling.

Kindred ult wears off.

-ace-

the odds of that exact scenario happening is rare, but you get the gist. The ult dances with death, risk and reward. If it was another "heal team for this and deal x damage to enemies." You know what would happen?

-enemy team just walks out of it and waits-

oh boy!

So yes, the heal and death prevention is actually a useful tool for its entire purpose, "making the enemy team comfortable with death." Wolf in sheeps clothing broski.

I love Kindred a lot, I plan on playing her (them) ASAP. But, like Bard, I will not feel too good about ulting in a teamfight; feels like I'm constantly risking helping the enemy more than myself. I would at least like for them to remove the enemy heal. But if they don't I'm fine with just learning to use it sparingly.

I understand that Riot is all about trying to make things more binary and adding more complexities to the decision making process... but this sounds like it's gonna be a nightmare in soloQ, especially when your team's toxic. In fact, it could be worse than Bard, because your ult might turn around a fight in the worst possible way if your judgement is poor.

I second this

The opposite: Now the enemy DOESN'T want to be in the aoe, and if they get to low health, they will most likely die when the aoe expires. They disengage and wait.

That's not as fun or interesting, or interactive.
