WHY IS AUTOFILL STILL A THING

I just wanna play the lane i queued up for lol. autofill is trash. no one likes it. whats the point in having it in the game when everytime someone gets it either me or my teammate feeds. i know there are some people who can play all lanes but im not one of them. im awesome with mid top and jg and every bot game i play i lose. no matter how good or bad i did. i just wanna play the game and have fun but its kinda hard to have fun if after playing like 1 game u have autofill activated then u get adc. just take it out

because League without Autofill was so bad that people played other games while in queue. And I dont mean "let me tab out while this queue goes"

I mean they'd spend more time playing Overwatch, than League, because more than half of their total play time was waiting for the queues to fill. Autofill is necessary, no matter how bad you think it is. We wouldn't have made it to season 8 without it

Im fine with autofill for me it was never really crazy.

if u dont like it sure maybe in the future we will wait 15min for a game.

Because Ranked is not designed to be a “one role” mode.

If you can’t play every role, that’s your problem. You don’t deserved to be ranked high if you can’t play every lane to a minimum competency.

Because the role selection system cannot function without autofill. Without autofill, a large portion of the LoL playerbase would see 40+ minute queue timers average within a week.
