ARAM is really SCEG: Same Champions Every Game thanks to ARAM accounts
These people are the lowest of the low. True scum of the Earth human beings. How about you just make unlock EVERY champion for ARAM and ALSO make it actually RANDOM.

ARAM accounts have little to nothing to do with that, there's not as many as you want to believe. The reason you keep seeing the same champions is because of rerolls and the bench. You never see Udyr because no one will keep him unless no one on their team has any rerolls or they're an Udyr main, but you'll see Lux every time she's rolled because she's great in ARAM. The only way to make it "actually RANDOM" is to remove rerolls, remove the bench, no bans, and make it so you can't just dodge to get a new champion. If you get Udyr you have to play Udyr, no ifs or buts. And people will absolutely hate that, because they're all for "diversity" until they're forced to play something they don't like.

Yeah.. I mean there are like 20 champions that actually get played in ARAM compared to 140+ that are in League. :D
i have a account. i play alot of aram. i don't just get what i want because i unlocked everything. i literally have every champ unlocked. i cannot say the same for the people i am fighting.
My friend got Teemo but someone dodged. after we accepted, he got Teemo again, but once again someone dodged. We accepted a third time, and we was both surprised to see that he didn't get Teemo... And then he rerolled... 3 Teemos in a row dosnt seem very random to me*[zombie-brand-mindblown]*
200+ Champions to choose from and every game for the week comprises of the same 20ish champ is boring and makes me wonder why I reinstalled this game.
Aram accounts are a non issue. Ive gotten the same champion multiple games in a row with nearly everything unlocked. Its just how rerolls work.
ARAM was at it's peak of enjoyment when we had bans.

Yeah not really but disagreement is usually not welcome on these kind of posts.
Bans are garbage, get rid of the bench, that's why you see so many of the same champions because people don't want to get out of their comfort zone anymore.
They said they won't unlock all champs for ARAM because it would cost them a lot of money to do so.
In the end, it comes down to greed.
I don't have an Aram account but I would stop playing aram if they'd unlock all champs. Firstly because the problem isn't nearly as significant as the circle jerk in this thread implies. Secondly because I have no interest in playing 3/4th of the roster, especially the ones I avoided buying.
I have all the champs but I always have to play 
And let's not forget that 90% of the games is having 3 adc in 1 team

The problem isn't ARAM accounts. I get runs of the same champion in a row or multiple appearances over a few days even though I don't have an ARAM account. Random selection itself is the problem, but people would rather find an enemy to blame than admit there's math they don't really understand.
**I'm old. ** I was there when ARAM was invented, and it was popular till people upgraded it to ABAM or ABAB (All Blind All Bot - Dominion).
But even then people had ARAM accounts, including me, because the games were so slow and it was really boring and painful getting an aweful champion such as Udyr. The best version was, imo, ABAB dominion. Because people tend to have fun and not give up easily when they can pick/play a champion that they want to play, also the Dominion map was darn fun to play. Instead of destroying a Nexus - you and your team tried to capture the bot base and protect it to gain points.
The problem was that Lux, Nidalee, Veigar was picked all the time - which people knew so they counter-picked that. My friend played mostly Akali (super strong vs squishies) or Alistar (soaking up all dmg and became unkillable with items + strong scaling on the healing), myself I played AP Yi which resulted in over 300 pentakills before he got popular and nerfed.
When Riot decided to release ARAM; we, the ARAM folks, knew that this would happen. We screamed that everyone should get the same champion pool but no.....I have no idea who is in lead of the ARAM project.
I actually wished for the Dominion map to be a part of the custom games when they removed it, so I could go back playing those ABAB - Dominion games...
I miss bans in ARAM. It was fun never seeing a Velkoz or a Veigar ever again.

Bring back the 10 champ ban system, i swear i had so much fun in ARAM with bans, they decided to remove it for some reason, now..same mages over and over
OR just make some mr items ARAM only to counter this stun/root/knock up/ poke dmg heavy carry mages, o wait, they removed that aswell..
tbh i would love to have teleport summoner too on a long cooldown

As I've said before, I think the less likely you are to get a champ you like and know how to play, the less fun aram is. Some RNG is necessary for the game, that's why weekly rotations are important and help. If there's only 10 champs a person likes and knows how to play (let's say aram account), he's still getting the current rotation of champs more than half the time. Once you consider that not everyone has the same list of champs (even assuming it's 10) you will get a fair variety.
If anything, the current rotation seems to be doing the most for seeing champs over and over again, not aram only accounts.
