Shaco or Lee Sin?

(Noob Jg Main Here) Just hit 3150 IP, and I've had my eye on Shaco. He seems like a really cool champ, and has a really cool play style. But I've heard a lot of mixed opinions about him. I'm not sure if I should save up and take the safe pick (Lee Sin), or go for Shaco. Any advice would be awesome.

i think sion is the best of the two. He's a better and more reliable jungler and has better early game pressure and doesnt rely on cheese

Shaco is easier to play. Lee Sin is overall better if you have very high level mechanics.

If you like to split-push Shaco is your guy. If you like trying to snipe primary targets then Lee Sin is your guy. However, to do that reliably, you need to probably play Lee Sin and nothing but Lee Sin for a loooong time.

Shaco is not as mechanically intense or flashy but the game knowledge it requires to do well enough as Shaco to justify using him over Lee Sin is tremendous.

There are also subtle mechanical nuances to Shaco, such as dodging projectiles with your ultimate, controlling your clone to mislead people and so on.

You can pin game knowledge on any champion. Irrelevant.

Some champions rely on game knowledge for success more than others. To suggest otherwise is nonsensical.

I say neither and correct me if I'm wrong. Shaco feels pretty useless unless he cheeses the enemy junglers lvl1 (his job) or gets a lvl2 ganking off with red buff and can snowball off of that and win mid game late game I don't really see a shaco being an issue at all. He just gets nuked before he goes in or he's so weak he can't kill the enemy adc or squishy mid at all

Neither, Zac has more damage and tankiness.

If you're a n00b jungler, play something like XinZhao or Amumu. They are not difficult and can teach important things about jungling.

Both of them are incredibly hard to play. Shaco is better than Lee though at the moment.

I am an avid Shaco main, but I will admit he's not the highest tier pick. There are Shaco OTPs that get Diamond+ though.

RekSai Gragas are the best junglers right now.

Save it. Shaco is getting some tuning in the Assassin update, so it's worth waiting to see if they Vel'Koz him before picking him up.
