Does anyone have any tips for stacking Manamune faster?

Whenever I play Jayce, I notice item 3004 takes a while to charge. It usually isn't until later in the game that I even get to upgrade it. Just wondering if anyone has any tips concerning stacking it faster.

cast more spells, auto attack more. those are the only ways to charge it. lol

Thats pretty much it...auto attack minion waves and spam spells in between waves or roaming...R doesn't proc stacks anymore...just an fyi...
