Can akali get an actual buff?

I only like to play akali when im bored of other assassins, but I can say confidently that she is really not that good when compared to other AP assassins like ekko, fizz, and kat.

She got a buff last patch, but it didnt mean much because gunblade got nerfed as well (her core item). So the the buffs really only off-set the nerfs to gunblade.
