autofilled after 30seconds in waiting queue is a real thing?

Why am i getting autofilled after waiting litheraly for 30seconds or 50seconds? Starts q with position selected on mid/jung or top/jg and after 30 seconds waiting in q, i accept and get support?? I'd rather wait for 10 minutes to play what im selecting than waiting for 30secs and losing 20lp.

They really need to let the player decide after how long they want autofill to trigger.

Because other people have been waiting much longer.

If they simply made it based on how long you were in queue it'd be too abusable, since people would just keep quitting and rejoining the queue.

What's wrong with that though? They would trade time for more chance of getting their role. So, people that want a quick match and don't mind autofill, can get autofill, and people that have time to spare can waste time in Queue.

Because you think you can just make that choice, but, in reality, you can't.

If you allow an option that has an even slightly higher chance of winning, the only correct choice is to take that option. Everything else lowers your winrate for no actual reason. Even if that's only slightly and rarely.

Oh gee. You can duo but you can't avoid autofill because it will increase your chances of winning. Give them 5 extra MMR points then if they disable autofill.

I think you were the one that told me duo inflates MMR so it's ok. weren't you?

Also, why would not getting autofill increase your chance of winning? Are you saying Riot decreases your chance of winning when they put you in autofill? Are you saying your team has less chance to win if a player is autofilled? So, riot creates uneven matches if one team has an autofilled player and the other doesn't. That's what I get from your comment.

Autofill complains kinda feels like "first world problems". The reason i say that is because it used to be pick order and sometimes you would get last pick constantly and if you were playing a popular role like mid than even if you got second pick sometimes first pick would want mid. So if you mained a popular role you may get it once every 5 or so games. Autofill i wont get my role once every 6+ games with decent wait. If i am waiting 3m for a game with autofill in the game i hate to see the wait times without it. Just because you would be okay waiting 20m+ for a game doesnt mean i would.
