New player looking for a champion like Jinx or Tristana?

Hi everyone, pretty new to the game, any good champions like jinx or tristana? I like marksmans with high attack and damage. Thanks! Any opinions/help is appreciated :)

Ashe, Caitlyn, and Vayne are the closest you're going to get to those 2.

Ashe, yes, Caitlyn and Vayne, not so much. Caitlyn is a sniper, and is more of an ADC caster, as is Vayne. Sivir, Miss Fortune, Kalista, and Twitch are more auto attack and attack speed oriented, and play closer to Jinx and Tristana.

Caitlyn has a Q for waveclear, but most of her damage is still coming through autos. Sivir and MF are casters. MF will throw in an auto here and there, but her primary damage is through abilities. They're definitely good for new players, but not what OP asked for, so I didn't mention them.

Kalista and Twitch are auto-attack reliant but are pretty difficult and generally have lower damage. I wouldn't recommend them to new players.

Kog'maw.

Super long range like both, immobile like Jinx (he's actually less mobile), crazy fucking damage, etc.

Build path is Guinsoo's Rageblade, Runaan's Hurricane, Berserker's Greaves, Blade of the Ruined King, and from there your items are situational. Good items include Mercurial Scimitar, Sterak's Gage, Maw of Malmortius, and Wit's End.

Ashe is great for new players.

I played nothing but Ashe my first 100 games or so and it helped me learn the importance of positioning very quickly.

The slow on her AA is really powerful. Her W is one of my favorite skills in the game always max it first. Once you get a little practice with it you can use it to farm and poke at the same time. She plays well into many power picks. Her ult is a game changer and sets up jungle ganks perfectly. Pair her with a support like Leona Alistar Blitzcrank Morgana for a super nasty lane. She synergizes extremely well with crit/attack speed builds. Her E provides a lot of valuable information to your team. Simply launch it into the enemy jungle and you can find out where the Jungler is. If you don't see them on the red side, you can safely assume that their jungler is on the blue side.

I'd say Caitlyn, very high range from beginning and without spending mana, a line skillshot like jinx's w ( but it goes through minions), her e is a position ability, kind of tris jump ( but it doesn't reset on kills), very high range r that once casted is not avoidable ( unless they zhonya it, or use an invulnerability spell). Her traps on w are a little different from jinx's ( they can be setted gor ambushes). Overall simple but funny and probably the safest ADC. Another one could be Ashe, but I see other users already explained her strength so I 'm not repeating them.

If you want to try a more spell-oriented marksman I'd suggest Miss Fortune, can be a terrifying lane bully against certain opponents, funny mechanics on her q ( very high damage if it hits by killing the first target), her ulti is devastating in team fights, overall pretty simple too.
