I don't think riot realizes what is causing toxic play.
Hello, To start I'll admit I can be a toxic player. I can be. Most games I'm not toxic; but when i am.....oh I am.
Hear me out. I had a rolling chat restriction for a while. And had to be positive to remove it. I was a positive player always and grit my teeth even with bad teammates and here I am. got the restriction removed la ti da.
Lost a ranked game. cool.
Lost another?
Ok, play some normals win a few. get back in the swing. play another ranked game, lost 3 in a row because people are literally trolling.
Whatever. Still remaining positive. Play some normals, or some aram to boost my spirit. Play with a bronze friend go 20-5 as jax, now I'm happy again.
Time for more ranked.
Lost 4 in a row because of teammates who refuse to group. Still had not said a single word in chat. Just a bad run right?
Nah
Lost 5 in a row. Ok now I'm really angry. I'm starting to yell at people for their mistakes. like clearly my team is trying to lose. they are fucking around because they know it will make me more mad.
ok take another break, relax....try again.
Lost 6 in a row. I've had it. I've lost my freaking mind. I have a sorraka sitting in my base saying "gg surrender report noob riven" a riven running around (after saying "my first time riven btw") dying to every single lane, and an Annie walking around with her stun spamming laugh.
CLEARLY I"M UPSET. CLEARLY I"M GOING TO YELL AT ANNIE FOR NOT TRYING. CLEARLY I'M GOING TO TELL SORAKA TO STFU. Bam reported.
I just don't understand why people who are passionate about having a good gamin experience get punished because of a few words, WHEN THERE IS AN "IGNORE BUTTON."
THERE ISN'T A "STOP TROLLING" BUTTON. And yet, riot rewards trolls and punishes people trying to emulate competitive play.
I just don't understand why this is reasonable. Please if you don't agree with my post EXPLAIN TO ME WHY. I'd rather have discussion rather then a bunch of thumbs down. (By the way I've gone from plat 3 to plat 5 and have been in a slump ever since.)
