Duo top in solo queue

Never bothered to learn jungle until recently because it seemed boring. The new jungle seemed a bit more interesting, and it is. But it's way too hard. Even top picks like Lee Sin have to really work hard to keep up. If they do then bravo, if not because they got counter jungled just once or a failed gank then it's 4v5. So far the only other jungler with warwick like sustain (that I've played/know of) is fiddlesticks, but his ganks are weak and his ult is useless outside of a CC'd team fight against anyone that can right click on the map. I'm interested to see how the upcoming buffs work out (especially xin). Seems like a complete waste to have anyone besides Warwick soloing the jungle, because if they fall behind for even a split second the whole team suffers.

Personally, unless I can get Warwick, I can't see myself going through the frustration of jungling with the way the jungle is now. So how often and how accepting are people of a duo top in solo queue? The buffs could go to use on the laners, and the duo top/bot could farm their side of the jungle for XP early on. This would allow for more diverse set ups and strategies, but nothing so complicated that a pug couldn't put it together in the pre-game chat.
