@Riot are ther any plans for Gangplank?

Mainly asking because of the item 3078 change. He was one of the few champs that actually used the crit on it.

They said he was a fringe champ who they didn't see any impact on due to the change. Since they've had plenty of time to monitor changes, I'm pretty sure they feel like he's in a good spot. He does have alternate builds after all.

He doesnt need the crit, even with armor pen and flat ad, those barrels will almost one shot a carry

You know it's possible disarm the barrels right? Or atleast not stand in the aoe since it's kinda telegraphed.

Yeah thats why he has so much success in high elo play right? Cause its just that simple

He was borderline OP before that change and the cdr is almost as good for him as the crit, he's still super strong.

Do you even play Gangplank ? Even before the triforce change he always had 40% cdr since item 3078 item 3087 item 3508 was enough .

And now he gets PD instead of ER, still caps out on cdr, still deals a crapload of damage, but also has more movespeed and dueling power.

You forgot that he also loses 70 ad which is not minor. Also if not item 3508 then where is the other 20% cdr coming from?
