A bit of both : item 3107 item 3174 (and if needed item 3504 ) + any support item

after that, straight up AP with item 3041

Gold 2 70% win rate on lux, my build is item 3092 item 3020 or item 3009 item 3504 item 3107 item 3905 item 3116

runes: Sorcery: Aery, manaflow band, transcendence, scorch,.... **INSPIRATION **Magical Footwear, cosmic insight.

Ability max: Q, W, E (and R when ever possible)

DO NOT play lux support. Is not good, will never be. You are welcome

Start with item 3303 ->item 3098 , rush item 3174 , then get item 3285 . From there, I usually counterbuild the enemy team, and if we're decently ahead and have some good auto-attackers, I get item 3504

It is not about your build, it is about how you ward.

I build her support unless I'm 10/0 in the first minutes xD but even so dark seal (into mejai if you full stack it and are confident in staying alive) is mandatory. It just gives too much AP for its price to pass on. Then Ardent (whole team buff btw), Athene (great synergy with Lux playstyle and with a full support build which implies lots of mana regen it can be a 90 AP item). Of course spellthief into frostfang as first item. The rest is situational and may include twin shadows, shurelya, redemption, morello vs heavy healing and ADC too lazy to buy 800g executioner, rabadon if snowballing or we go very late game, zhonya and banshee if someone hard focus me and I need to stay alive. Boots depending on the situation (ahead=sorc even =Ionian behind and needing defenses = mercury /tabi). Side note: If planning on going full AP (like in an only ad team) starting coin is better despite starting with lower AP as the build is WAY more expensive and coin has better gold incoming in the long run (after lanes break you can't proc spell)

As an ADC main who mains LATE GAME champions (Vayne Twitch Jinx Kaisa)...

Please don't play that trash.

Play REAL supports that can actually assist me in my weakest stage of the game.

No matter how good Lux support is , AP is always better.

Lux needs to build support since her has does not have alot of in it utility where as somone like pyke can go damage since he's kit has alot of utility.

It made me laugh a little when in this one game a long time ago, there was an enemy Lux Support who rushed Rabadon's Deathcap as her first item, she didn't even buy the Frostfang (the upgrade from Spellthief's Edge) nor boots.

"Support" btw Lux item 3310 item 2003 item 3089

But jokes aside, I wouldn't go for either, not fully anyway. Going for a bit of both sounds ideal, since Lux scales pretty well, so a bit of AP and defensive items should be good enough in my opinion.

item 3092 item 3174 item 3504 item 3107 item 3020 , and then last is either item 3089 or item 3102

So like 50/50 (maybe a tiny bit more support than ap)
