Shadow Fire Kindrid's hair

Even though the splash art is amazing the game play of shadow fire kindrids hair drives me insane as its way too opaque,light and stiff [sg-shisa]. So i just want to know if a small vu could be made to it, to make them a fuller color and smoother and maybe even a bit longer.
