warframe is a mostly PvE game with no esports scene its not comparable

It wouldn't work.

Warframe, excluding a very small side mode for PvP that pretty much no one plays, is a PvE game. It's designed for a power fantasy, not for balanced play. DE only nerfs things when they completely take over or start ruining things for anyone who doesn't want to play with that one thing.

Riot has to consider both sides of a fight, and so they can't afford to listen to players in the same way that DE can when it comes to balance. That said Riot could sure learn a thing or two from DE about how to interact with their community when it comes to pretty much anything besides balance...

The lore team is fine though. They do a pretty good job all things considered.
