a list of things riot couldve done instead of keeping you from buying 2 tears

  1. add serrated dirk to the manamune recipe and increasing the combine cost
  2. taking away seraph embraces' shield and giving it a different mechanic (movespeed burst maybe or just move ludens into that spot)
  3. making iceborn gauntlet melee only
  4. giving seraphs a shock passive so theres less synergy
  5. increasing the evolve time for either tear item
  6. lowering the shock numbers in muramana

i enjoyed discovering the double tear build and i like stacking the 2 tears. the fact that you have to stack 2 of them should be enough of a drawback to justify having the power of both.

As fun as it is, no one else suffers. Except the griefers item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

Its just a broken synergy when its viable, SOOO many stats. So instead of hurting either item (and the champs that use them) separately they jsut make it impossible. Really its one of the best decisions they've made in awhile

Although they STILL need to make IBG melee only

Why are you focusing on TEAR ITEM NERFS when the correct answer is, when considering ezreals history of abuse, to either remove ezreals AP scaling entirely or remove his Q's on-hit proc?

The tear changes are very necessary. Ezreal is the only champion that bought both tear items. No other champion does that. The problem with nerfing ezreal and not touching tear is that his double tear option becomes the only viable option for an ezreal build, and everything else would just be way weaker. We cant just nerf seraphs embrace, then you nerf all the champions who build that but only that. I think riot went about this the best they could.
