Who else to play? (Support Main) Please help

I usually play support roles like Nami and Soraka and I kind of want to get more into the other roles but I don't know much about them being a noob. So who should I try/what role should I play? I always forget to farm because being a support you don't really farm, I prefer not to take damage because I'm used to be squishy so I always get nervous that I'll die and back out easy and I don't really like fighting up close, like melee. Who would I try play? And how would I play them? And I'm really bad at building items for roles other than support so if I could get a little bit of help and guidance with what to build with a suggested champ that would mean so much!! Thank you a ton and please remember I am a noob so pls be nice

Annie She can be played as a support, so you can play her there first to get the hang of her kit, CSing with Q restores the mana and halves the cooldown, so it's good for people who don't CS well.

Lulu A support that went mid, can push pretty easily and does well vs assassins, last hitting can be easier than normal thanks to her passive

VS AD champs you can get an early seekers and later turn it into a zhonias, vs AP you can either get chalice if you want to just farm and push or abyssal if you want to fight them, starting items you can either build dorans rings or maybe spellthiefs. 3 Dorans early can allow you to bully lanes with the extra stats but is not slot efficient, gives tons of mana regen, spellthief start is great if you can play passively and it gives a ton of mana regen as well, the active when it is upgraded to frost queens claim is really useful for both chasing and escaping. Other than that just go standard AP, 3rd item Void if they are building MR, deathcap if they aren't.

lulu is one of my newest personal favorites. she has good poke, her aa's are strong, and her polymorph comes in handy in many situations. for lulu build 1. eye of the watchers, (frost queen's claim combined with sightstone.) 2. frozed heart. 3. dead man's plate. 4. mobility boots. 5. locket of the iron solari. 6. rylai's crystal scepter. -- leona, i would recommend if you want someone tanky with good peel. she has good ability to keep her adc safe and can still do pretty good damage for being a tank. 1. eye of the equinox (targon's brace mixed with sightstone) 2. deadman's plate 3. locket of the iron solari. 4. mobility boots. 5. randuin's omen. 6. warmog's armor. -- hope this helps.

I bought Lulu because this has helped heaps, thank you! But is that in order of what to buy? Or should I buy it in the order what is recommended in store? Leona is free to play atm so I'll also try her while shes free

you can get boots before dead mans if you'd like, but everything else is in the order i personally buy it in. also, i max q on her first, then e. for leona i max w first then q. glad i could help a fellow support main.

You're asking about a champ to play somewhere other than support, right? I think the one who would fit you best right now is Lux mid. She has really long range abilities so you don't have to worry about taking damage or meleeing people. She also has good utility which works well with a support-the-team mindset. Her playstyle is to poke with E from long range. Follow up with an auto attack if it's safe to do so. If you land a snare (Q) then you can combo with E and R for amazing burst from a safe distance. (This is great in a teamfight as well, since they are grouped up closely.) Your W (shield) is great for yourself and allies in teamfights too.

If you do try her, then build item 3174 Athene's Unholy Grail, item 3020 Sorcerer shoes, item 3285 Luden's Echo, item 3089 Deathcap, item 3157 Zhonya's Hourglass and item 3135 Voidstaff. Pretty much in that order, unless you want/need Zhonya's for safety. Try to take scaling CDR runes (on glyphs) if possible. Be wary of her early mana costs!
