Conquer for rumble

Would conquer be good on rumble? If you just build raw ap and don’t get any magic pen then this rune might be really good on rumble. I am horrible at math so idk how this rune would work with/without magic pen, but from what I read it seems like magic pen/armor pen actually makes conquer deal less damage.

And Rumble is a melee champ so the duration will refresh, and the on-hit part of him overheating will be increased by the extra magic damage per auto and the extra ad that is gained from the rune.

This is something that I just randomly thought of now so pls don’t flame me and call me an idiot cause of this.

EDIT: this build would turn RUmble to more of a sustained damage dealer instead of poke, and I was thinking that for this build you would mainly get stuff with ap and either health, armor or MR that don’t have damage increases. So things like and

idk Rumble's play pattern. If he auto attacks often enough it can work, as the only it procs and refreshes is when you auto a champion.

However, I don't see it being a good option, as to get the most of it, you'd have to initiate with your auto attacks, and rumble has no real way to close gaps, so it's probably much better to stick to other options that can be utilized more practically.

A significant part of conqueror's power budget lies within its bonus AD, which you might not be using much either since he doesn't have ratios for it. Rumble also enjoys a lot of flat pen in his build, as his base damage is quite high

I do enjoy conqueror on Akali and Ekko, though it changes their playstyles significantly, making them less suited for burst and more for sustained damage.

Meh, I doubt it; Arcane Comet and Summon Aery work better to improve his poke, which he has plenty of. Also, Rumble has little use for AD (which Conqueror relies on) or AS (which the precision tree provides). It's mostly AP for him, with emphasis on hybrid durability items ( item 3151 item 3116 item 3165 item 3157 item 3102 item 3152 ). item 3135 and item 3089 are options for pure damage.

its good into tank matchup that can't really kill you and only building against you, they build mr but little do they know overheat + CQR bonus AD + true damage are going to hurt them anyway. Later on in the game though its not too too great until 4 seconds into the fight where your Q E and R are gonna hurt a ton
