can't support in bronze

I main support and last season I was silver but this year after a bad 10 match to get into ranked with many afk's people just plain stupid and the usual I lost 8 of my 10 and got put into bronze 5. I thought ok I’m silver I will support this adc like crazy and be in silver in no time but I find that if I play my best I can have some impact on the match but I can’t support 5 spread all over. I’ve even switched to giving more AP and dealing some damage due to weak ADC or insane players wanting to 1 v 4 or team mates running deep into their jungle when there’s no one on map. The problem is if you have an insane game with someone like nasus you can run riot over an enemy team but a support doesn’t have the same impact and now I have 5 pts in bronze and so frustrated trying to support my way outta here. don’t get me wrong I have some bad games ofc I’m no pro but I can be in a losing team and still have enemy team honour me so I know I am having some impact just too hard to support in bronze.

Should I stay my main and support in bronze or fight my way out in another role until I’m back in silver then switch to support were ADC is a bit more switched on.

i main support too and got placed bronze 4 no matter what you do it seems you cant carry a team while in support role i sill try my best

yh i know what you mean like i said if adc plays amazing it has huge impact on game but if support plays incredible you can still get slapped silly

I main support too. I discovered it is better to play an ap support in rank. I've played Karma on one (or two; don't remember clearly) and we won. I am good with Karma too. I stop playing Thresh, my main, in rank because it was hard for me to engage with the team following up.

I tend to play more junglers now in rank like Diana and Sejuani as I can force more things to happen : jungle, gank, pushing lane while the laner is not there. ^^

Play something with infinite scaling. Despite having dumb teammates your opponents often times are just as stupid and after winning a team fight they will all back or split up and free farm bot lane and top lane while neglecting more important objectives. Play something like Nasus or Veigar and get yourself to a point where you can win the game on your own despite your mid laner being 2/31/9.
