Talon nerf compensation?

There are many, many walls of text complaining about Talon losing his silence but i understand the reason behind it. its to provide counterplay against him ect ect. but when his kit is completely built around blowing up a target faster than anyone could it just isnt the right way to fix the issue. Talon has a issue that if he fails to blow up the target of his choosing, he dies. no escapes unlike zed, leblanc, katarina to name a few. and his ulti is usually used to gap close or just as pure damage. My suggestion is to rework his passive and do something else with the E. the Cutthroat slow is just silly and is only to proc the passive. Why not just give his Q 10% more damage and give him a completely new passive? Like for example "when talon gets a kill or an assist. he gains 1.5 sec of stealth and movement speed" or just something else adressing his weaknesses. right now Talon is not very viable compared to others and when he is behind it is really tough to comeback for him. he has the same problem as old rengar. when he falls off he is very weak and forced to split push rest of the game. but when ahead he can just stomp anyone that comes to his path. What do you guys think? Should talon get some love? these are just my thoughts and they might be flawed but i just dont know it yet.

I feel like he is actually balanced but since most the other assassins are not balanced it makes him look weak when in fact he's healthy

I wouldnt say MOST are unbalanced... just:Zed Leblanc Katarina ???

There's more mid lane assassins then those? There's akli who was pretty unbalanced for a long time and still is just not as bad

list of midlane asassins: Ahri Akali Diana Ekko Fizz Katarina Khazix Leblanc Talon Zed which of those 7/10 have disengages. ones that dont have are talon, akali and diana. i agree that akali is weak right now too. to be a successful midlane asassin you have to have a disengage IMO

You forgot kassidain also khaz isn't a meta mid lane also akli does, have disengage her ult stores multiple charges she can use to get away

yeah i suppose. but that only proves my point that a staple asassin ability is not only a dash but a disengage

That's true but should it be? I love playing zed but I'm totally in favor of his ultimate nerf also with LeBlanc their nerfing her chain and then later her dash. So it seems riot is slowly making all assassins less mobile which I'm ok with

I would say those are the 3 most unbalanced assassins... the others to me are healthiER

Well fizz is pretty unbalanced pretty much any assassin with a get out of failed assassination free card is which is why I think talon is,ok if you mess up you have to deal with not just press r and go a quarter of the way back down lane

i think zed is pretty balanced. high skill cap- high reward. yeah, he is annoying to play against, but i think he is balanced. and no, i dont even play him, but i play against him :)

I love Talon he ma boy! But I feel like when they removed the Silence they should have at least given him an interrupt, like kass and vik have.

"Talon has a issue that if he fails to blow up the target of his choosing, he dies. no escapes unlike zed, leblanc, katarina to name a few." ive never played talon, but i know if kat fails to kill her target, she has no resests, she has no escape :) because her only engage and disengage is shumpo. so i disagree. but kat is still op :D

Loctosos1 votes

huh. yeah thats kinda sloppy of me to say but kata can escape if she kills someone. she can get in and get out unlike talon.

True however if she, gets the,reset...... for talon thou it's balls to the wall no retreat if you go in your in

Yea I agree that Talon kind of needs some thing. His passive isn't very helpful if he only has a very little amount of slows (2 Seconds on his Rake and 0.25 seconds on his E) You don't really have much chances to even use your passive in a 1v1 stand point. Why remove his silence and then give him a 0.25 second Slow? You can probably barely get 1 auto attack off in that time. I get that it's a 99% slow but 0.25 seconds is nothing...

Maybe they could lower the amount of slow and increase the duration of the slow to make up for it, giving you a little more use of your passive if you couldn't instantly kill the target. Maybe some thing like instead of a 99% slow for 0.25 seconds, some thing like 80% slow for 2 seconds (or 60% slow for 3 seconds) etc.
