Bronze support main, looking to improve greatly

Hey guys,

Right now im bronze 1 (flex placed me into b4) and i really think i could get to gold in s7. im confident enough, and i think my mechanics and game knowledge is above average of your typical bronzie. I play support mostly and it goes well for me, I win more games. I just want to improve as much as i can. because i know you can always improve, no matter how good you think you are. I do admit i do get angry and flame sometimes, and i know this is probably why im still in bronze. but im in the right frame of mind now to not to, and to help my team instead of putting them down.

Im up for any criticism, because If someone can point out something im doing wrong, i can try to improve on it.

So pretty much what im trying to ask is, any tips/tricks you guys have? any habits i should be getting into, just anything at all. Anything a support should be doing, i know the basic, abuse cooldowns, peel, ward, eyes glued to map most of the time, push lane when want to back. stuff like that. Please don't be afraid to suggest anything.

If you want to check out my op.gg, study it or whatever, here it is (http://oce.op.gg/summoner/userName=Outrageous%20Gems)

In advance, thank you guys so much :)

p.s. sorry for any spelling errors, its currently 2:40 am :P

your braum looks quite nice. I think you will be out of there in no time. How about buying a knights vow?

Agree with knights vow and agree you're looking pretty good. It sounds like you know what you need to be doing as you've listed what most people would give as advice so the only thing I can suggest is to strive to do each of them to your best ability every game. My support account is the highest account I have (plat) and got there from a grind up from B4 so it's definitely possible and imo you're on track to do it.

Just to highlight a few tips you mentioned, let's talk about warding. You want to be as close to capped for wards all game while also sweeping the enemy wards away and although this sounds obvious it's probably the easiest thing to slip the mind especially in nail biting games. Vision wins games by saving deaths and taking kills and this goes doubly for bronze and silver as you know the likelihood of your team warding is slim. If possible try to keep a ward on both sides of the river by the red and blue camps to give yourself and your ADC time to escape the seemingly inevitable 4+man dive.

Another thing you MAY want to consider is adding a sustain champ to your pool. This depends on play style and if you're just not successful with those types of champs then stick with what works. With that being said I would suggest Nami for you in particular as she still gives you initiation in the form of her bubble and wave while also giving you a heal for sustain. I try to use sustain champs when my ADC is a late game hyper carry like Vayne as her low range keeps her pushed back in lane more often than not. The longer they stay in lane the more success they will have, especially that first back. Nothing is more frustrating than going back 300g short of a BF.

I'm sure these are already things you know or have thought of but I enjoy seeing support mains!

position well! If their bot lane gets too close, be ready to engage if you feel you have a good opportunity.
