Why are Riot trying to ruin enchanter supports so much? I’m

Ezreal and Leona both have ~56% winrates and barely get anything done to them (wow 20 damage off Leona W xD) while Sona was sitting at a 52% winrate last patch and gets the shit nerfed out of her for multiple patches in a row to the point where she barely has enough mana to do anything in lane as if she’s not designed to be a poke support or anything You can barely even notice her heal having any effect either especially for the mana cost, it’s pathetic

Now the heal/shield power from every single item which has it is being nerfed on the PBE- why are we being forced into building full AP in order to have any effect on the game? Champions like Alistar and Leona are ridiculously overtuned right now yet making it so enchanters have to build expensive AP items to be able to have a shield last more than 0.2 seconds is really disappointing given enchanter supports suffered a lot from the Windspeaker’s removal + Aery nerfs and currrently aren’t even that meta anyway because of how ridiculously strong engage/tank supports are

Every enchanter support is effortlessly running around with 150-200AP. The +healing items numbers were balanced around having less than 100AP.

The thing is they want enchanter supports to have to play aggressive in lane with poking and not sitting back afk shielding the adc every time.

Ok sure but why12/7/2017, 1:23:47 AM1 votes

People will always complain when something is unable to kill an ADC immediately

People don't like it when someone denies their kill. I would assume due to enchanter's being less flashy They aren't as appealing to people that want high action moments. Enchanter's are designed to slow the game down and make things a battle of attrition. Personally I think that is a good thing and the game needs more of it. Unfortunately I think Riot cares more about appearances and wants constant flashy thingvs to occur so they try to push these characters away. I think they are to concerned about thikngs like viewership in e sports to actually allow these characters to be just as good as other more visually appealing options. Notable exception being someone like Nami who does have big visually appealing plays and moves (and is somehow immune to changes as a result). I think thks sucks and that Riot needs to accept that champions that slow the game down within reason are a necessity for the game. Auras, healing, and several tank items have all been hit for basically the same reason. Was there any reason to remove runic bulwark other than it was making fast kills and big plays harder? Nope not really. At almost 4000 gold it was perfectly fine for what it did.

In the end I think it all comes down to Riot catering to specific groups instead of trying to make all their fans and players happy.
