Most Bronze players never listen to any directives because they are coming from other bronze players. This typically leads to a lack of coordination and team deathmatch style of play. They also make really bad decisions on a regular basis.
Silver players may have basic mechanics, but they frequently turn on their teammates when bad plays on are made. They are also uncooperative with each other, but they will pay attention to players that are carrying and rally around them. I think toxicity and rudeness to teammates is highest in silver. Most Bronzies recognize they are bad, while silver players don't and blame their teammates a lot.
I did notice a huge difference in play once I got to high silver and low gold. People are more coordinated and try to respond to teammates instead of saying the "they got caught" line. Tanks sometimes try to initiate and there is follow-up in fights from teammates instead of simply running away. I have a smurf account that is high silver that I use to play rank with a couple of friends in low Silver and Bronze (I created it for them).
I almost forgot how bad people could be at this game. Very few players know how to play from behind and people blow huge leads all the time. The games are pretty frustrating. I actually get pretty frustrated sometimes playing on my smurf account simply because I got use to the average player skill in gold. I imagine platinum players get really frustrated playing with Goldies.
