Call me slow but those bruisers tho!

I've had an out and in on LoL lately. Which is basically my way of saying: I play league for a majority of a season, and then take a break. My friends and family even, have been saying it's a bad habit. Of course I agreed with them to disagree because LEON'S ALWAYS RIGHT.....ok! on to the discussion I wanna share! As of recently, I've been transitioning from the jungle role, to the top lane, a position I used to play as a novice scrublordy lord. (of course now a days I can do pretty much any role give or take), but anyway! I wanted to discuss gameplay with a rather old and not so new topic: Bruisers, err, I mean fighters, err I mean high power tanks....you know what, I'll let you name them what you want. I'll once again repeat to avoid any conflict with lurkers that I've been out of league and in to league on a seasonal basis. No offensive judgement please. I'm very fragile. ;-; So bruisers! Yeah from what I've heard, people had been playing Juggernauts, or hyper tanks in the top lane, or Heimer if you're THAT guy. Jugs aside, I think bruisers are very dominate this season, especially since they've updated certain core items like sun fire cape, to synergize with your cs'ing. An example i'd like to provide is a more recent one: Akali. Akali has always been a veteran LoL champ since her very own day 1. And I don't think I've ever seen her in such a powerful position in all my years of playing league. Don't get me wrong, her mid lane AP burst assassin build was super tough to deal with. But with other more dominant assassin's hitting the lane, I didn't really see a point in playing her there. So a certain friend of mine whistled in to my ear, (and then I told her to stop), after that she told me about Akali being played top as a bruiser. Being a skeptical piece of crap LoL player, I had to show SOME skepticism. unfortunately she triple dog dared me to try it and even supplied me with the item set, which of course meant I had to try it. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! I never had so much fun playing with Akali in my life. The best part was she was able to do so much damage to the enemy team, that all I really had to do was build items such as And since there was a decent amount of magic damage on their team I went into these alone sustained the magic damage and Abysal was especially helpful since it adds to her ap scaling which of course means: more damage.

Wow I thought i'd have more to discuss but I think truly this was what was dying to claw out of my brain and onto my computer screen (that probably explains the multiple head traumas I've been having), anyway would love to hear your opinions on this wonderful wacky thing we call....(insert the name here) farewell, chops!
