So I just finished my last placement game, I won 9 out of the 10 placement games. My kd's: (4/4/7),(15/0/3),(14/8/5),(11/2/4),(17/2/2),(15/3/3),(18/2/2),(15/3/5),(13/1/1). I was hoping to get atleast gold 5.... but I got bronze 3. How is this possible??? Please someone explain. My

LF Annie2 votesranked reset is performed on pulling your mmr down towards Zero, and then setting your rank appropriately off of your new MMR.
so if your silver 3 with the MMR of silver 5, and the reset pulls you towards 0, if you win 5/10 you will prob end bronze 5. so bronze 3 is fairly reasonable for a mid silver player.
HEAljvLykd2 votesYou will never place higher than your previous rank. If you are good your new rank shouldn't even bother you. Just climb like normal. If you aren't good.... have fun being bronze for awhile.
