I've just reached Silver IV. But, I'm not sure if I'll last for the remaining of the season..

Hello! I'm 7X7 on League (NA). This is my first League forum post.

Anyways,

I'm a new player at League of Legends. I've been playing for about a month and a half, so I'm still an amateur.

Luckily, in placements, I was put into Silver IV. But I would like to maintain my rank so I could get Silver awards at the end of the season. But I don't think I'll last for the next 6 days, since people will be playing a lot of ranked games to keep their Ranks.

Any tips on what to do to keep my Silver rank? (Such as avoiding ranked matches, or taking the risk and playing them).

They stopped taking away the lower ranks last year, about one patch after they took mine... they figure out it was dumb, but they fix their mistake retroactively.
