Preseason Placements Post Reset

I don't understand the reasoning behind the one match decision on the preseason placements. I was 13-3 Gold 2 with 72 lp yesterday. Today I get placed in a game and lose after half the team got tilted and just quit. The result is me being placed in Bronze 1? How is that even close to a fair placement? My total is 13-4. Shouldn't that be looked at at all? I thought "okay, I will probably be moved down to Gold 5 or maybe Silver 1....". Not Bronze 1.

I can't be the only person that has had this happen and see this as a fair deal...

I was in gold also. Did placements won 5 lost 5 and got bronze 2. Did the bonus placement match and won and then crack smoking rito decided to put me in silver 5

so i was fuckin high silver... after shit placements.. already sucked.. do my remade placment... 2 guys start fighing draven starts inting... bronze... fuckin 1....

Wait, so we got a 1 game placement? I was Silver 1 yesterday after starting in Siolver 2.

I just went to play a game and it ended up being a remake and i got notice saying im in Bronze 5.

i had the same issue, the answer they give me was that how flex works: whatever u win or lose all of ur 10 placement games, u will be placed depending of ur rank at the beginning of season 2016. So me by example, i started s2, i climb to plat5 this season. I won 12 of my 15 flex rank games = back to s1 , i was gold 3 in flex before the 1 game that i won today.

Your right where you should be. Shhhhhh.

You got lucky based on their system being fucked from the start and inflated mmr. Your starting rank was supposed to be loosely based on your season 6 dynamic rank, but with rank reset it should go down like it does every season.

since you were gold 5 you should have a starting rank of like silver 4-bronze 1. So yes.... the system is right.
