I just wanna know the good supports that are good for a kinda utility and aggro playstyle comment ideas*[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]*

Utility/aggro is my forte; I prefer Nami (obviously) and Karma and Lulu are really great options.

As an ADC main, I dont want a Janna support because she doesnt help me get any kills. It feels like Im in lane alone.

Maybe a more experienced Janna could help you with getting kills. But I understand, Janna is a passive support.

Either you've had bad Jannas, or you don't know how to play to her strengths, fam.

Janna plays great into a poke lane. Her shields give you more damage, allowing your trades to hit harder -- while taking absolutely no damage yourself.

She also has a slow, a knockup, and a knockback, all of which are excellent for securing kills after an engage.

Speaking as a Janna main, the most frustrating thing is being paired with an ADC that assumes I want to play "passive". A well-played Janna lane can be incredibly oppressive, but only if my ADC knows how to play to our strengths.

Thresh is pretty much never a bad choice if you invest some time into learning him since he's pretty much one of the most versatile supports there is. He can build focused on tank or utility, he can engage with Q or disengage with E, and he's notorious for saving people from bad positioning with lantern.

Also, obligatory Bard mention because he's pretty much the only support who's always fun to play imo

Any tank. Squishy girly supports are useless. I dont need heals or shields I want cc.

For you, Sona is THE best support to pick right now. She also seems to fit that description. If you have high game knowledge but garbage mechanics, Janna is probably the best support in the game for you. I can claim that one from personal testimony.

Janna just fixes mistakes the best. People underrate her passive movement speed buff too.

If you have decent mechanics but still want to stick with a utility/aggro playstyle then Nami can be an extremely powerful pick.

I'm pretty shure every time Nami sees sona she starts to sing that Gatorade "Anything you can do I can do better" Song. Now despite this being a completely hypothetical scenario its still kind of a jerk move on Nami's part because Sona cant actually speak up for herself.

As a Sona main, I will concede that point. Though I often Play Sona for the late game.

Combining CDR passive on a maxed R, with 45% CDR. And having the shielding power on her W synergize with Windspeakers, and Ardent Censor. I just love imagining the opponents frustration when my teammates won't die.

Then again, late game isn't currently meta, and supports are generally behind more so at higher ELOs. So Nami probably would be better if you wanted to climb.

saw i had a response on this comment and was ready for something mean, but you surprised me. i like the longer games where it seems neither side has the advantage more then the steamroll games but hey what can us supports do other then try to keep them alive.

Nami Healing, Damage buff for ADC, and 2 AOE CC. Bard Damage, Game Changing Ult, Healing, Perfect Support for Roaming. Lulu Shield, Damage, Silence, Life Saving Ult, Speed and Attacks Speed steroid. Thresh Grabbing support, Lantern to save over extending ADC's, AOE CC, E's Passive strike Rakan Healing, Initation, AOE CC, Shielding/Dashes, Good support in Team Fighting Initiate

Sona Soraka Veigar I currently play when I just want to have fun.

Blitzcrank Nautilus Leona Thresh are all really good with the new items for teamfight/engaging.

How does he not feel fair for all parties? Literally everything in his kit can be dodged without too much difficulty, used as well to your advantage or against him, completely shut down, etc. besides his meep on hit damage. Hell, even his chimes can be played against.

Given that there is a visual indicator on meeps folks can just keep some distance on his auto range to counter play meep stacks to an extend. 2.Bard is one of the supports that when done well can dominate the flow of a match. anything that requires a SS to dodge is strong, bards got that. his Q can be dodged some times on its own but there are 2 situations provided by his kit that one cant juke (after his E or if his R landed), plus anything in his team that will hard cc. When he hits his best cases he destroys matches.

now I don't know much about what'll get you up in ranked, but I know what works as support. anyone with a slow is good, so Lux Lulu Nunu
also any stuns and silence are golden.

my personal fav is Leona though tough to stay alive but assists feel great and you can win a teamfight with one well place ult.

support to me, isn't so much about the champion but your mindset in playing and really being picky about your spots/times to encounter.

just remember you aren't there to get kills. you're there as an extra skill set to get your adc/teammates kills. if you have someone to play lane with that you have chemistry with that can help a lot. although if it's just you two, don't forget there's a whole rest of the team around. map awareness and warding is clutch, not just for you but for everyone. if you're paying attention and can drop a ping to alert on a gank across the map you'll save lives.

bottom line: play who feels good to you and matches your style. don't wanna be a healer? don't wanna be a tank? you already know what you like, just poke around a bit =p

My favorites for agro with utility are gonna be Bard, Braum, Thresh, Nami, Morg, Alistar, lulu, Rakan. This is my list after throwing builds into consideration. Leo, Natu, Blitz are also options but I feel are a bit more restricted then others listed. Also worth a mention, A good Janna is a beast support but more she does tend to play as more defensive and reactionary.

Also do me a favor, when some one recommends Sona to you mentally replace her with Nami . Sona, Winner of the " I AM TOTALLY BETTER THEN NAMI*" award. Besides that she loses out to the mighty fishy in pretty much every single way that would impact a teams ability to win a close match.

Just practice Thresh. He is overtuned and most highly picked in all mmr ranges.

Bard has really surprising, satisfying, simple, and strong damage. He is super fun too cause the more creative you are with him the more you have access too. He brings a little bit of everything, sustain, CC, damage, mobility, and you can build him pretty durable.

Tahm can FORCE your ally out of a bad situation whether they like it or not.
