how to make ranked less painful

been playing for many years. this is the most tilting part of ranked play you might be able to fix:

  • if remake, give everyone (except AFK) 5-10 LP or something. yeah it is like a small gift, but right now we get so little from ranked. why not a small consolation for our wasted time?

  • i know you guys are smart enough to know who is a smurf acct (even i can figure out in 2 seconds on the startup screen...), so why not do better matchmaking so those smurf accts are lined up against other smurfs in similar lanes? not perfect, but way better than what we have now.

  • ranked really sucks at the borders (between bronze/silver, silver/gold, etc...)... why not focus better algorithms there? example... not allowing gold 4 to match up with silver unless they drop in MMR to silver 2 or 3 (thus they can't troll the silver 1 games that kind of matter).

ranked right now feels like getting kicked in the balls every other game. not sure if that's the feeling you are aiming for. esp when there are other games out there that feel better.

Best method I've found is to play Normals excusively. It's worked for me since season 3.

would cause lp inflation, of which are already inflated, you can already climb with 50% winrate

Would be tough to determine who is lucky and who is a smurf on 10 games. smurfs already skip divisions

its already like that, but the problem is that the bottom tiers have demotion shields and like 3*0 lp matches before they actually get demoted, meaning their mmr drops a lot before they atually demote

The only thing I want is SOME way of being compensated for having a troll on your team. It's so fucking unfair that not only do you get 20-40 minutes of your life wasted, (even more so than it is simply playing this dumb fucking game) but you lose lp, lose promo matches, causing you to spend even MORE time just to climb back up, over fucking TROLLS. It's horse shit.

send a ticket, trolls also exist on the enemy team and there isnt really any algorithms for spotting any troll in a game

That means if you never troll, the chances of someone being a troll is bigger on the enemy team than yours, so thats simply just not an excuse
