Kog maw comeback? Tanks are still bad?

So now that people are starting to spam tanks in soloq. Recently because of that I've been playing the void muncher himself and I've been doing exceptionally. Every single time I go up against a sej, chogath, zac whatever they have, It seems like I just won at champ select.

Now the discussion I want to raise is that because the reason that Kog maw has a hard time is when they pick dive oriented champs like lee sin and jarvan. Maybe its not the items that are putting some champs ahead of others but the champions themselves being all around better? You put a dive comp together and they have to pick peel. When you pick peel, you do less damage (on paper). Maybe Riot needs to change the way that dive champions work in order to make the tank champions feel more satisfying to play?

I'd love to hear some thoughts or just other experiences with tank busters like Kog.
