Draft Dodge Question

I was playing with coworkers and forgot to hit select during draft. It really sucked that we had to wait 5 minutes for draft dodging, especially when I hovered over the hero the entire time. Why can't the hovered hero be auto-selected when the timer runs out?

That's not a question - but a good suggestion. Lot's of good ideas are just abandoned because no one from Riot visits the boards anymore.

Because they want to make sure everyone is paying attention to the draft and not just AFK the entire time
