Right so we all know due to lots of changes yi has gone through numerous shifts. Despite all the changes he some how returns and manages to stay viable in different ways. e.g. ap yi, ad yi, movement speed yi, rework, full ad, attack speed yi, cool down full ad yi, zeals and bts stacked. < do you think full ad yi or full crit and a.s or a.s and lots of life steal would be viable? Right now yi is going through gunnis bruiser meta.
Yeah it still works, its just harder. The old crit yi was basically a split push monster, now yi can team fight way better. I'd still build a steraks even if u go full crit build just for the added survivability in team fights.
He can, provided the enemy team has little to no CC and are squishy.
I have been trying a mix of both and it comes down to having Fervor mastery instead of Bloodlust. Yi is all about 2hit kill ( or few more) . Having at least one health item (
) will assist in surviving 1-2 secs more to kill even after being CC'd
I have rarely used 
simply becuz it's expensive. Instead i get mix of things to farm faster and live longer.
