I'm really confused why the plat 5 player was there honestly, but the rest was fairly even, and it doesn't appear that he did that well in the game anyway. You had a 3 man premade on your team against a team of 5 solo queue players. The average mmr on your side was around 1480-1500, the enemy team was around 1540, with the outlier being the plat 5 at almost 1700. Riot will place dynamic queue players against people of slightly higher mmr than them since they have an advantage. The system appeared to be working (mostly) as intended.

you sound like you are curious.. let a person who has thought about this stuff for awhile explain the math...

The Yasuo AurelionSol Lucian are queing together.. so they grab to random people: Zac Brand

Riot believes that groups are stronger than solo so they try and put them against solo players.. Jax MMR is at the point he is about to get demoted.. and the other people do have trash MMR on the enemy team.. so then they group you guys together.. and say good luck..

also the reason you lost.. your bot lane was garbage.. and i am guessing that you went down there trying to gank and help and ended up dieing .. when people are getting stomped in lane.. in solo Q... /mute them and focus on winning lanes.

if you get in a game where a lane is feeding hard core or just bad.. you need to let them go and get other lanes going man..

You should see our mm over in OCE. Its not uncommon to see diamonds (and sometimes plats) matched with master / challenger players
